A number for your business
If you don’t have a business line or want a new one, we give you a local number for your company.
Plenty of sole traders run their business from their personal mobile and mix customer calls with family ones. With RingParrot you can have a dedicated business number, without signing up for another line.
Two ways to use RingParrot with a number
| Option | How it works | Who it suits |
|---|---|---|
| Keep your number | Forward the calls you miss to the parrot | Businesses whose customers already know their number |
| RingParrot number | We give you a local number for your business | New businesses, or anyone separating personal calls |
How the business number works
- Choose a local number in your area.
- Put it on your website, your cards and Google.
- During opening hours, calls ring in the RingParrot app, on your computer or your phone, or are forwarded to your usual phone if you prefer.
- After hours, or if you don’t pick up, the parrot answers.
What it does for your business
- Tradespeople: your business number isn’t your family’s number.
- New salons: a number from day one, without waiting for a phone line.
- Teams: calls don’t depend on one person’s mobile.
What to keep in mind
We provide local geographic numbers, never premium-rate ones. If you want calls to ring on your usual phone, that forwarding comes out of a minutes balance. If you already have a number and want to keep it, use call forwarding instead.
