Answers at any hour
RingParrot picks up while you work, at lunchtime, at night and at weekends.
Most of the calls a small business misses don’t come in at 3 am. They come while you’re working, at lunchtime, right at closing or on a Saturday morning. RingParrot answers all of them, at any hour, every day of the year.
How round-the-clock answering works
- Your phone rings first. With conditional forwarding, if you pick up, you talk.
- If you don’t, the parrot answers. It greets callers with your business name and helps them the way your front desk would.
- After hours it answers straight away. You can choose to send every call to the parrot once you close, without ringing your phone.
- You get the summary of every call to check when it suits you.
Two calls at once
A person can only take one call. The parrot can handle several at the same time, so the second caller never hits a busy line. That’s one of the moments businesses lose the most customers: you’re already on the phone and another call comes in.
What it does for your business
- Hair and beauty salons: clients who call in the evening to book don’t have to wait until tomorrow.
- Home services: someone with a breakdown on a Sunday gets an answer and has their details taken.
- Clinics: lunchtime stops being a gap with nobody answering.
- Repair shops: early calls, before you open, get answered.
What to keep in mind
You set the schedule: when your phone rings first, when the parrot answers directly and what happens on holidays and closures. Answering at any hour doesn’t mean solving everything at any hour: if something needs a person, the parrot takes a note and passes it on.
Questions
What does the parrot say in the middle of the night? The same as during the day. It can book, give information or take a message and, if needed, say when you’ll call back.
Can I switch it off on some days? Yes. You can change the schedule or the holiday rules whenever you like.
