Instant urgent alerts

When a call can't wait, the parrot alerts you right away so you can respond yourself.

Not every call can wait for the summary. A water leak, a patient in pain or your best customer with a problem need you to know right now. With urgent alerts, the parrot spots those calls and tells you straight away.

How urgent alerts work

  1. You define what’s urgent for you with simple examples: “a leak”, “car won’t start on the motorway”, “a customer on a maintenance contract”.
  2. The parrot answers the call and, if it recognises one of those situations, flags it as urgent.
  3. It alerts you instantly through the channel you choose.
  4. Depending on your rules, it transfers the call or tells the customer when you’ll call back.

Why it matters

An unanswered emergency rarely calls back: they look for someone else who answers. And it’s exactly the kind of customer who values speed most and comes back again.

What it does for your business

  • Home services: leaks, power cuts or locks that won’t open.
  • Repair shops: roadside breakdowns, if you offer recovery.
  • Clinics: the parrot gives no medical advice; in an emergency it tells the caller to contact emergency services and, if you’ve set it up, alerts the on-call practitioner.
  • Any business: key customers you always want to handle yourself.

What to keep in mind

The fewer things you mark as urgent, the more useful the alerts are. If everything is urgent, nothing is. Start with two or three clear situations and adjust over time.

Questions

Can I have different alerts after hours? Yes. You can choose to be alerted at night only for the most serious cases.

What if the parrot gets it wrong? In your call history you can correct it and teach it which cases are urgent and which aren’t.
